The wooden choir that occupies the large space of the apse, very valuable work of inlay, looks like a big hug that wants to welcome all those who are there to pray. The representations of saints that adorn the higher chairs, express in a very suggestive way the mystery of that communion (communion of saints) that is the very nature of the Church of Jesus Christ. The Saints of Heaven and the Saints on Earth (the baptized) are gathered together to raise to God their praise and their prayer.
The chorus is, in a sense, a beautiful depiction of Paradise: the garden prepared by God to welcome all of his children.
